Presets Guide

  1. Once you receive your email and are ready to download, open the email from your phone, tap open the file, tap the icon to “open with” and select “Save to Files”.

  2. Choose either “iCloud Drive” or “On My iPhone”. Ideally, you will want to select iCloud Drive in order to access the files again later if you get a new device.

  3. Open up your Files app and locate the zip file you just downloaded and saved. Tap the zip file, and it should automatically unzip, showing each individual preset file from the collection you purchased and downloaded.

  4. Open one file, tap the “Open with” icon, and choose “Save Image”. NOTE: The image will look like a blank space or black square in your Photos app.

  5. Repeat step 4 for each preset file.

  6. Open up the Lightroom Mobile app and create an album for the preset collection in the Library by tapping the “+” to the right of Albums, then tap “Album” under Create New. Name the album by the collection or preset you have downloaded (examples: Rebecca Kearns Creative - Abode Collection or RKC - Abode).

  7. Tap the three dots to the right of the album you just created and tap “Add Photos”, then “From Camera Roll”.

  8. Select all preset photos from your Camera Roll, then tap “Add” on the bottom, right.

  9. Once all preset photos are in the album, select the album to open it, then tap on the first photo to open it.

  10. Tap the top, right circular icon with three dots, and tap “Create Preset”. Name each preset using the title from the photo file (example: Abode - Sand). I recommend saving presets by collection in different Preset Groups. In order to do this, after typing in the name of the preset to save, tap the option under “ Preset Group” (the default is “User Presets”, then tap the bottom option “Create New Preset Group” and title this group accordingly (example: Rebecca Kearns Creative - Abode Collection or RKC - Abode), then tap the check mark in the top, right corner.

  11. Repeat steps 9 - 10 for each preset file/photo (be sure to select the new Preset Group you created when saving the subsequent preset files).

  12. Now your presets are ready to use! Simply open the photo you want to edit, swipe right and tap Presets, open the Preset Group you would like to use, and select the preset for one-click editing.
